Excel @ workplace

Recently i got a chance to join a workshop held at my workplace. And its title was excel at the workplace. Actually this workshop has nothing to do with microsoft excel.. it's about being an excellent person. Only 20 lucky person in my organization was selected to join this workshop, and I was one of them.kih3.. The facilitator was Mr. Dion Ooi, which is sangat3 best orangnya. He has been through a lot ups and downs in his life, and his stories are very interesting and inspiring at the same time. One of my colleague dah upload video gambar2 workshop tu kat youtube, and now i'm sharing it. And at the ending of the workshop, Mr. Dion ajak menghayati lirik lagu The Climb by Miley Cyrus which is kalau kita dengar betul2 was very inspiring. Sunway 25 years anniversary

This year Sunway University is celebrating their 25 years anniversary. Towards this silver jubilee celebration, mcm2 program yang diorang buat. One of it was a  reading flash mob in the library. All students are invited to the library, pick 1 book, at 12.25pm read out loud for 2.5 minutes.. haha.. enjoy the video

Akhirnya bersatu..

Salam semua.. wahhh.. trajik tak title entry ni? ke poyo jer? kalo poyo sila muntah sekarang..hehe.. Sebenarnya yang bersatu ialah adik aku dan isterinya yang dah selamat diijab kabul pada 27 mei yang lalu. Alhamdulillah semuanya berjalan dengan lancar. Jom share sikit gambar2 saat semasa majlis akad nikah..

Tahniah buat adikku yang dah berjaya melangkah bendul.. Sila jgn tanye bila turn saya..huhu.. Ok jom cite sket perjalanan kami ke Kelantan kali ni. Walaupun dah beberapa kali dtg ke Kelantan ni, tapi rasanye inilah trip yang paling best setakat ni. Sebab kali ni bila nak berjalan2 tak terikat dengan kehendak sape2.. 1st night kami kat sana kami tidur kat sebuah home stay di Machang sbb lebih dekat dengan rumah pengantin perempuan. Tapi homestay ni xbest sgt sbb air conditioner cuma ada 1 dan sekejap ada air sekejap xde air. Kan susah tu? lepas selesai majlis kenduri di rumah pihak perempuan, kami terus bergerak ke Kota Bharu. Kali ni tidur di home stay yang lain pulak. Rumah yang ni jauuuhhh lebih baik dari rumah yang pertama. Kemudahan lengkap, bilik banyak, aircond banyak, ada astro dan bilik tidur yang selesa. Serious best. Kalo nak tau lebih lanjut bleh klik kat sini. Ni ade sket gambar2 homestay tu..

Bila tiba waktu malam, smpai la masa untuk dinner. Selama berapa hari kat sini mmg duk repeat nasi lemak, nasi kerabu, nasi berlauk dan sebagainya. Tapi malam last kami kat sini kami makan western plak. Boring dah makan nasi. Kami makan dekat restoran Mr. Cook Western. Komen nya.. memang sedap dan murah.. Puas hati jugak la makan pada malam tu.. Becoz of the promotion kat Capricciosa ni, me with my officemate pun datang la mkn kat sini.. Lagi pun harga dia memang lebih murah daripada harga sebenar. Since x pernah makan kat sini, we all pun cuba la.. And not bad.. Alhamdulillah.. sedap.. Lain kali time ada promotion confirm kami akan dtg lagi.. enjoy the menu photos..

Garden @ Sunway Pyramid

2 org staff dari ofis aku akan bertukar department bemula Mei nnti. And hari ni adalah hari last aku dgn diorg. Sedih memang sedih, tp memandangkan kami masih lg bekerja dlm building yg sama, kurang la sikit rasa sedih tu. Sebab diorg ni sgt baik dan sgt helpful. And dah byk experience kerja kat sini. Before ni kalau ada yg tak faham atau x reti nak buat boleh jugak tanya2 kat diorg. Lepas ni kena la belajar berdikari.huhu.. Dan sempena farewell diorg, bos aku wat la farewell kecil-kecilan kat restoran Garden, Sunway Pyramid. This restaurant located at level LG2, sebelah j.co donut.. Ini adalah first time aku mkn kat Garden ni. Selalu lalu jer depan restaurant ni. Makanan kat sini ok dan sedap la jugak.. Ada yang mahal and ada jugak yang murah, tp rasanya affordable kot. Korean students

Awal Januari yang lepas, tempat kerja aku menerima 9 org korean student dari Silla University, Busan, Korea utk buat internship program kat sini. Mereka ni datang sini untuk belajar english, dan disebabkan study course diorg adalah librarianship, so kena la belajar selok belok kerja library. So pagi diorg pegi kelas, petang diorg kena kerja. Dapat gaji atau x itu aku x sure. Sebab diorg ni dtg under program language. Kalau x silap nama program tu International English Programme (IEP). Memang susah jugak nak communicate dengan budak2 ni. So kena la guna perkataan yg simple2 jer. Tapi bukan semua mcm tu. Ada 2-3 org jer yg mmg susah sket nak paham kita ckp dan bila dia nak bertanya pada kita pun dia x tau nak ckp mcm mana. Sabar je la.. hi3...Tapi sepanjang diorg kat sini memang banyak bagi kenangan manis untuk aku dan semua staff. Yela, sume tgh giler cite korea la kate kan..hi3.. Lagipun seronok jugak bila kite expose kan diorg dengan agama dan budaya kat Malaysia ni. Ada sekali one of the student tu tanya aku, kenapa ada perempuan Islam tak pakai tudung. Menggelabah jugak la aku nak jawab. Mula2 kita bagitau dia benda tu wajib, tetibe ramai yg x pakai.kih3.Ok lah.. Jom share gambar kenangan aku dengan diorang.. Ni waktu weekend terakhir diorang kat Malaysia sebelum balik semula ke Korea. Kami berpicnic kat Tasik Shah Alam.

Then 4 hari sebelum diorang balik Korea, language department pulak buat farewell party untuk diorang. Tak party jugak la. Just majlis kecik2 jer. Disebabkan bos aku x free pada hari tersebut, aku pun pegi la sana untuk wakilkan. Kat majlis tu each of them kena bagi short speech pasal pengalaman diorang sepanjang kat Malaysia ni. Sedih la jugak bila dengar semua ucapan tu. Sorang demi sorg berterima kasih kat kami. Suke3 =)

Lepas selesai ucapan, bagi hadiah dan sijil, time untuk ambik gambar ramai2 pulak. That was me, them, my big boss, their lecturers and people from marketing department.

Then last but not least is their last day in Malaysia. They came to the library to bid their farewell and say goodbye to us. Each division dapat hadiah dari diorang. Ingat kan ape yang diorang bagi. Rupa2 nya instant coffee from korea and highlighter stick...hahhaha.. first time dapat hadiah macam ni. Each division dapat dalam lebih kurang 70 bungkus..banyak kan?? heheheeee..

Dan sekarang diorang dah pun selamat balik ke Korea. Their flight was on 27th March at 1 am. Diorg ckp class diorang kat sana will start on the 1st April. So that's all for now. Till then... daa~~~

Serai & Kokopelli Travelers Bistro..

Hi all.. to start this story with, i want to tell you that last week has been a very fun week for me. A lot of things made me happy and one of it was i met with my friend that i really miss!! Yes, they are bel and bai, my course mate and my ex-office mate.. hehe.. We met last Sunday at Subang Parade and we had our brunch there at Secret Recipe.. and I ate Spageti Aglio Olio.. hurmm.. yummy2..

After having some sightseeing inside there, we move to our next destination which is to Empire Shopping Gallery. Well, since they didn't live in this area, this is their first time going to empire. And for me, even it's not my first time, there's a lot more places inside there that I never been yet. At first we decided to lepak2 and minum2 at The Loaf, but the plan suddenly change after we saw the pavlova in one of those restaurant there, which named 'Serai'. Well, in my thought since the name is serai so maybe it serve only local and traditional food. But its totally not. They are western base food restaurant and their dessert look so seducing!! hehe.. Of course we are totally melted after saw their dessert. But unfortunately, since their restaurant was full and no empty table, we have to que. But that's ok.. After 15 minutes, we got a table..syukur.. Since their price is not so cheap, we only ordered 2 slice of cakes which cost RM14 each  which are pavlova and walnut torte and their cheapest drink there cost around RM8. So we ordered 2 sweet drinks and 1 plain water. Even its expensive, it is totally no regret because the food taste so good.. and sweet.hehe.. It was my first time eating pavlova and I don't know if there is a better taste of pavlova in other restaurant. If there is, I hope I can go there someday and compare them..hehe..

The next few days later, my sister's family ask me to join them to dinner. I usually will just follow and didn't mind where will we eat. But then I was so happy after knowing that we are going to Kokopelli Travelers. This place has been quite popular these day after Nona made a coverage about their food. And our table is next to Norish Karman table.. ahaks.. We ordered beef lasagna, seafood marinara, garlic bread and for me, I ordered spageti aglio olio..again..hehe.. My comment, the food here is so good!! I felt like this is the best olio I've tasted ever.. seriously. A lot of vege and seafood inside there..yummmy.. Next,  time for desert! As what we watched on Nona, we ordered creme brulee and rich trifle. Once again..not bad..so well melted in my mouth.. I hope I can have family dinner here next time with my entire family. Insya Allah..

Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa

Lama tak update blog ni, gara2 takde idea. Tiba2 teringat yang a few month ago I went to Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. Malas nak cite pasal hotel ni sebenarnya sebab banyak sgt hidden charge dia.hehe.. Tapi hotel ni mmg sangat cantik. Harga pun cantik. Nasib baik dapat staff discount. Ok la sikit. Siapa2 yang bermalam kat hotel ni mesti puas hati giler. Dari lobby, lift, bilik, swimming pool..semua cantik. Eh asyik puji jer kan..

Happy new year

Tahun 2012 dah pun menjelma.. Syukur sebab dapat menjejakkan diri ke tahun yang baru ini. Semoga kehidupan selepas ni akan jadi lebih baik.
